Job Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Houston, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: 1st floor, South Tower
Hospital average daily census: 120 patients
Staffing: 3-4 staff per room
Hours of Operation:
- Monday to Friday: 7 AM – 5 PM
- After hours and weekends: On call
Staff Type:
- Day Shift: Radiologic Technologist / RN combination
- Night Shift: Not specified
Equipment: Siemens, GE, Philips
EMR System: Merge

Typical Procedures

Heavy Structural procedures including clinical trials
Structural Heart procedures preferred

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
ACLS certification
BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Structural Heart procedures

Work Environment & Culture

Best personality fit: Self-motivated and team-focused
Floating Areas: Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab Pre/Post
Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs
Weekend/On-call Schedule: Every other weekend and 1 weekday on call
