Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 4/10's (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
On Call: 9-10 shifts per month plus 1 weekend

Job Description

• Position for a Cardio-Vascular Radiologic Technologist specializing in the Cath Lab.
• Must have prior Cath Lab experience.
• Duties include scrubbing and monitoring during procedures.
• Use of sterile technique and experience scrubbing cath lab procedures such as angiogram, PCI, complex cases (CTO, L main, PFO, device implant, PE thrombectomy, IR cases, Peripheral).
• Structural Heart experience preferred but not required.
• STEMI coverage required.
• Use of Impella and IABP devices expected.
• Monitoring and recording on MacLab system; training on MacLab use will be provided.
• Responsible for knowledge of products and restocking rooms.
• Scrub color: any solid color.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: Cerner.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification required (RCIS certification NOT accepted).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year.
• Experience scrubbing cath lab procedures.
• STEMI coverage experience.
• Experience using Impella and IABP devices.
