Location: Austin, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with weekend rotation

Job Description
Seeking a night shift Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide adult respiratory care. The role involves managing nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and ventilator support. No on-call duties are required.
Unit Information
- Adult respiratory care unit
- Typical procedures: Nebulizer treatments, oxygen administration, ventilator management
- Dress code: Olive green tops and black bottoms
- Weekend rotation required
- No call responsibilities
Required Certifications & Licenses
- Respiratory Therapist (RT) License/Certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
Preferred Qualifications
- ICU, NICU, or PICU experience is a plus
- Additional certifications such as NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) are preferred but not required for this adult position
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Current NBRC certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- Acknowledgement of HCA Employee Health and Safety policies or passing a Competency Exam for Respiratory Therapists or assessment of USP 800 Hazardous Drug Risks
