Job Opportunity: Radiation Therapist

Location: Mount Vernon, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekends Required: No
Call Required: No
Floating: As needed within scope

Job Requirements

Valid Radiation Therapist license in Washington
Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Required Qualifications & Compliance

Background check covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in the past 7 years
Education verification (US equivalency documentation if education completed outside the US)
Drug screening (10-panel within 30 days of start)
Immunizations and health requirements including:
- Tdap vaccine or signed declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframes
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination (mask required if declined during flu season)
Professional references: 2 completed within 1 year of start
Photo for badge and completion of confidentiality, crime disclosure, and conflict of interest forms

Additional Notes

No weekends or call required, suitable for those preferring a standard weekday schedule
Floating may be required within the scope of practice
First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment

This position is ideal for a Radiation Therapist with at least 1 year of experience, current Washington state licensure, and required certifications, seeking a 13-week travel contract with a Monday-Friday schedule.
