Description
Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Location: Naples, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 13 weeks)
Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, four 10-hour shifts)
Call: 9-11 call shifts per schedule, including after-hours and weekend call
Floating: May be required to float between campuses
Job Description
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician assists with imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab, demonstrating critical thinking and judgment. Responsibilities include scrubbing and monitoring (recording) procedures under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services. The role involves working in both the Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) areas.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience in Electrophysiology, including Electrophysiology Technician experience
- Ability to work call shifts including after-hours and weekends
Additional Information
- Must be able to float between campuses if needed
- Critical thinking and judgment skills required to perform timely studies
