Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Hudson, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in a Level II Trauma Center environment within a Cardiac Cath Lab unit.
The unit has 5 procedure suites with a staff including RNs and techs.
Typical procedures include Diagnostic and Interventional Cath, Peripheral Vascular, Pacers, ICDs, Watchman, TAVR, and EP/ABL.
Equipment used includes Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, Rotoblator.
EMR systems: MacLab & Meditech.
Schedule includes working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
Day shift is fully staffed; night shift is on-call for emergent cases.
Patient ratio approximately 1 patient to 3-4 staff members.

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist within the last year
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, Cath Lab Tech Certification

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Electrophysiology/Ablation (EP/ABL) procedures is a plus.
