Job Opportunity: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Location: Montclair, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Specialty: Surgical Services
Shift: 4 shifts of 10 hours each
Years of Experience Required: 1 year (minimum)
Prior Travel Experience: Not required
Local Candidates: Locals within 50 miles are not accepted

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting)

Requirements/Qualifications

Surgical Technologist with at least 1 year of experience
Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
Current BLS certification
Current NBSTSA or CST certification

Additional Requirements

Complete employment application/resume
Clear headshot photo for badge
Compliance with facility-specific orientation and safety manuals
Medication/pharmacology competency exams as applicable
Color blindness testing (online)
Competency exams with minimum passing scores as applicable

Notes

Prior travel experience is not required for this position.
Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility location.
All certifications and health documents must be current and verifiable.
Background checks and verifications are mandatory before start.
