Job Opportunity: Mammography Technologist (Temporary)

Location: Bay City, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary

Job Description

• Perform high-quality breast imaging (mammograms) using specialized equipment.
• Focus on patient care, positioning, radiation safety, and producing images for radiologist interpretation.
• Handle equipment maintenance, quality assurance (QA/QC), and record-keeping to meet regulatory standards such as MQSA.
• Guide patients through screening and diagnostic procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
• May assist with other breast imaging procedures such as ultrasound or biopsies.
• May be required to float to different locations within the area.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Mammography.
• ARRT (M) Certification (Mammography).
• Experience with bone density imaging.

Additional Information

• Position is day shift.
• Mileage reimbursement provided for travel between locations.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
