Registered Nurse - Step Down Unit
Location: Evansville, Indiana
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)

Unit Details:
- Dedicated Stroke Unit
- 30 beds
- Nurse to patient ratio: 1:4
- Patient types include Medical, DKA, Cardiac, GI, Renal, Sepsis, Trauma, Surgery
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Minimum 1 year of Stepdown nursing experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Flu season mask policy applies if vaccine is declined
- Pharmacology, Medical Surgical, EKG exams, and Core Competencies must be updated every 3 years
- Onboarding includes completion of nursing contingent worker education and contract worker onboarding
- Unit-specific checklist is optional but may be required by unit leadership within one week of start
