Job Opportunity: Nuclear Med Tech

Location: McAllen, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Department: Radiology (Nuclear Medicine)
Staffing: 1 Full-Time, 1 PRN
Shifts: Day shift staffed by 1 tech; night shift is on-call
Equipment: GE Nuclear Medicine equipment, including cardiac imaging
EMR System: MediTech
PACS System: McKesson

Required Skills and Experience

Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist)
Texas Medical Board certification
ARRT (N) Certification
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Experience with GE Nuclear Medicine equipment, including cardiac imaging

Preferred Skills

Experience with Y-90 procedures
Experience with lymphoscintigraphy procedures

Work Environment and Expectations

Floating area includes X-Ray
Dress code: Hunter Green scrubs
Rotating on-call duties and willingness to assist with weekend shifts
Personality fit: Self-motivated, efficient, and works well with others
