Location: McAllen, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Department: Radiology (Nuclear Medicine)
- Staffing: 1 Full-Time, 1 PRN
- Shifts: Day shift staffed by 1 tech; night shift is on-call
- Equipment: GE Nuclear Medicine equipment, including cardiac imaging
- EMR System: MediTech
- PACS System: McKesson

- Gastric Emptying
- Pulmonary Ventilation

Required Skills and Experience
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
- CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist)
- Texas Medical Board certification
- ARRT (N) Certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Experience with GE Nuclear Medicine equipment, including cardiac imaging
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Y-90 procedures
- Experience with lymphoscintigraphy procedures
Work Environment and Expectations
- Floating area includes X-Ray
- Dress code: Hunter Green scrubs
- Rotating on-call duties and willingness to assist with weekend shifts
- Personality fit: Self-motivated, efficient, and works well with others

This travel assignment is ideal for a Nuclear Med Tech with at least 1 year of specialty experience, certified and licensed in Texas, who is comfortable working with GE equipment and performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures.
