Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Float / Inpatient Float (Nights)
Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide total nursing care for adult-geriatric patients.
- Participate in patient and family teaching.
- Collaborate with ancillary nursing and patient care team members to maintain professional nursing standards.
- Float between Med Surg units (Thompson, Farnum, Kingsbury) during shifts (e.g., 4 hours Kingsbury, 8 hours Farnum).
- ICU RNs will be considered.
- Must be able to work stepdown units when needed, including experience with cardiac drips and other stepdown practices.
- Use Epic EMR system.
- Dress code: Traveler provides professional scrubs (no logos).
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license for New Hampshire (Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required).
- Minimum 2+ years Med Surg experience.
- Minimum 2+ years Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience.
- Telemetry experience required.
- Experience with Epic EMR required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher required.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Current American Heart Association ACLS certification.
- Must have own vehicle for transportation.
- Must be willing to float between units during shifts.
- Must be able to work nights.
Additional Information
- No block scheduling or schedule accommodations will be considered.
- Requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no requests accepted after offer.
- No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted during the assignment.
- Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
- All medical and occupational health compliance items must be completed and uploaded within 5 days of offer acceptance.
- Permanent address must be included in profile.
