Job Opportunity: Operating Room Nurse - Cardiac Surgery (Day Shift)

Location: Corvallis, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

Join the Operating Room team providing cardiac care for surgical and procedural sedation patients across all age groups, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients. The role involves collaboration with various provider specialties to care for patients being discharged the same day or admitted to the hospital.


Required Qualifications

  • Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license
  • Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification
  • AHA ACLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Circulating Nurse in the Operating Room OR completion of an approved didactic pre-operative nursing class
  • Minimum 2 years experience in ICU/PCU and/or medical-surgical acute care setting
  • Preferred: 1 year CVOR/Open Heart experience
  • Preferred: ICU experience
  • Preferred: Scrubbing experience
