Registered Nurse - Acute Care (Med/Surg and Transitional Care)

Location: Glendive, Montana

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Acute Care RN position working in Med/Surg and Transitional Care units.
• Patient ratios typically 1:4.
• Shift options: Day or Night shift.
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.
• Floating within scope to Transitional Care Unit as needed.
• Block scheduling may be accommodated upon request.
• Locals accepted; no radius restrictions.
• Pending license accepted; Compact RN license accepted.
• Return to work restrictions: Maximum 5 days off; no time off within first two weeks.
• Guaranteed hours with options for 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Montana.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Transitional Care Unit within the last year.
• Experience in Med/Surg.
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.

• No on-call requirement.
• Facility uses Cerner for charting.
• Dress code allows any scrub color (refer to dress code policy).
