Job Opportunity: CVOR Registered Nurse

Location: Lake Charles, Louisiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Schedule: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts plus on-call
Weekends: Rotating weekends required
Call: Yes, 1 day per week

Job Description

Seeking a Registered Nurse with CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience to provide skilled nursing care in the CVOR setting. This is a travel contract position requiring flexibility for call and weekend rotations.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Louisiana
Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience, with CVOR experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Information

Annual competency exams and orientation requirements apply
Facility-specific policies and confidentiality agreements must be completed prior to start
Prior travel experience is requested but not explicitly required

This position is ideal for experienced CVOR RNs seeking a travel contract opportunity with a defined schedule and supportive credentialing requirements.
