Registered Nurse – Newborn Nursery
Location: Plano, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights

Unit Overview
- Unit: Newborn Nursery
- Patient Population: Mother/baby care with step-down NICU baby experience required (floating to NICU step-down babies expected)
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Floating Policy: As needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of postpartum nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience in newborn nursery care
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Preferred Skills
- Experience with couplet care (mother and baby care together)
- Familiarity with S.T.A.B.L.E. program
- Experience using Meditech documentation system
Schedule & Work Details
- Night shift with guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Weekend schedule and call requirements to be discussed during interview

Dress Code:
- Scrubs required (specific color not stated)
- Nails must be clean and healthy; artificial nails, gel, or similar enhancements are prohibited
- Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer
- Facial hair must be clean and neatly trimmed
- Tattoos should be covered when possible; uncovered tattoos addressed individually
- Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited (e.g., nose rings, tongue rings)
Attendance: Company-wide attendance policy applies
