Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Location: Allegan, Michigan
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation (Physical Therapy)
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8 hour shifts)
• Call, weekend, floating, and holiday requirements: None
• Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
• Patient population primarily Orthopedics, with possible care for Geriatrics, Pediatrics, and Vestibular patients
• Preference for candidates with more inpatient/subacute experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from the facility (no locals accepted)
• Pending license accepted if active by start date
• Dress code: Teal scrubs or business casual
• Charting system: Redoc

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Michigan
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA only
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - AHA only (certification requirements may vary by unit)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (NRP), and other certifications may be required depending on unit assignment

Additional Information

• Background checks and health documents must be current and compliant with standards
• Facility-specific documents and confidentiality agreements must be completed prior to start
• Modules related to facility orientation and training must be completed before start date (approximately 8-10 hours)
• No prior travel experience required

This position offers a structured weekday schedule with no call or weekend duties, focusing on outpatient orthopedic therapy with opportunities to work with diverse patient populations.
