Job Opportunity: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech

Location: Walla Walla, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Position requires previous OR scrub experience; no first-time travelers accepted.
Must have Washington State license.
Primary services include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Gynecology, Obstetrics (C-Section), ENT, Plastics, Vascular, and Ophthalmology.
Shifts are 8 or 10 hours, variable day/evening.
On-call required: 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks (call only).
Callback time is 20 minutes; must stay within this time when on call.
Floating between units is not required.
Expected staff ratio: 1:1.

Required Qualifications

Valid Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) license in Washington State.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
Recent Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year.
Completion of at least one travel assignment as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
Certification through CST or NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting).
