    Job Opportunity: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech

    Location: Walla Walla, Washington
    Employment Type: Travel/Contract
    Contract Length: 13 weeks


    Job Description

    • Position requires previous OR scrub experience; no first-time travelers accepted.
    • Must have Washington State license.
    • Primary services include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Gynecology, Obstetrics (C-Section), ENT, Plastics, Vascular, and Ophthalmology.
    • Shifts are 8 or 10 hours, variable day/evening.
    • On-call required: 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks (call only).
    • Callback time is 20 minutes; must stay within this time when on call.
    • Floating between units is not required.
    • Expected staff ratio: 1:1.

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) license in Washington State.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
    • Recent Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year.
    • Completion of at least one travel assignment as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
    • Certification through CST or NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting).
