Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist

Location: Robbinsdale, Minnesota
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform MRI imaging procedures efficiently and safely for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
• Accurately conduct imaging exams and apply critical thinking skills.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to emergent situations.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
• Utilize imaging and hospital computer systems correctly.
• Interact professionally with physicians, team members, patients, and families.
• Access medications as appropriate for job duties.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals.
• Maintain and demonstrate proficiency in required skills, including ongoing skill improvement and upgrades.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of MRI experience.
• Prior travel experience required (at least 1 year).
• ARRT certification.
• BLS certification (ARC or AHA).
• Experience working with patients from pediatric to geriatric populations.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma setting.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
• Work history documentation relevant to the specialty.
• Current skills checklist (updated within 1 year) pertinent to MRI technology.
• Two supervisory references with employment dates.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA.
• MN DHS Net Study and Fingerprinting required for all patient-facing positions.

Additional Information

• Dress code: Khaki scrubs.
• Strict compliance deadline for credential submission: 4 PM on the Wednesday before assignment start (no exceptions).
• Local travel policy applies for candidates living within 35 miles of the facility.
• Nonbillable hours: 4 hours.
