X-Ray Technologist (Temp)

Location: Robbinsdale, Minnesota
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform quality diagnostic radiological exams as ordered by providers.
• Patient populations include infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• May perform additional radiological procedures within scope of licensure, such as EKGs and Dexa bone scans.
• Shift details:

  • Mostly 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week (Monday through Sunday)
  • Occasional 12-hour shifts
  • 10-hour shifts may be scheduled to reach 40 hours per week
  • Night shifts are required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
• Prior travel experience required
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Strong OR/surgical skills with C-Arm
• Trauma Level I experience
• Experience with all patient populations
• Ability and willingness to work night shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• O-Arm experience
• Experience with Epic EMR system

Additional Information

• Agency must provide radiation dosimetry badge for the duration of the assignment.
• Work history and skills checklist current to within 1 year, pertinent to the specialty, are required.
• Two supervisory references with dates of employment are required.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA.
• All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application; late requests may not be honored.
• Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs.
• MN DHS Net Study and fingerprinting required for all patient-facing positions.
• Strict compliance deadline for credential submission: 4 pm on the Wednesday before assignment start.

This position requires a highly skilled X-Ray Technologist comfortable with trauma cases and surgical environments, able to work varied shifts including nights, and with prior travel experience.
