Job Opportunity: Certified Surgical Technician

Location: Evansville, Indiana
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)

Job Description

• Work primarily in the Main Operating Room (OR).
• Must be able to scrub on complex cases including Open Heart, Thoracic Valve Aortic Replacement (TVAR), Mitral Valve, and vascular surgeries.
• Efficient and timely setup of ORs required.
• Assist as needed, including second scrubbing for robotic and orthopedic procedures.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Certified Surgical Technician (CST) program.
• Ability to take call with a 30-minute response time.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CVOR Technologist.
• CVOR Technologist experience within the last year.
• Proven experience scrubbing open-heart cases.
• Proven experience scrubbing Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TVAR) cases.
• Proven experience scrubbing mitral valve cases.
• Experience assisting with second-scrubbing for robotic procedures.
• Experience assisting with second-scrubbing for orthopedic procedures.

Experience

• Must have experience scrubbing on complex cardiovascular and vascular surgeries as listed.
• Years of experience not explicitly stated; however, demonstrated competency in specialty required through exams and prior work.

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes.
