Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Assignment
Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Position Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Shift: PM
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
- Call Requirements: None specified
- Number of Openings: 1

- Unit: Surgical ICU (SICU)
- Number of Beds: 12
- Patient Ratios: 2:1
- Patient Types: Surgical, vascular, and ICU patients
- Float Requirements: Must be able to float to any ICU unit
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Skills and Experience
- Must have ICU experience
- Comfortable working with surgical and vascular ICU patients
- Ability to float to other ICU units as needed
Work Environment and Dress Code
- Scrub Color: Navy
- No fake nails allowed
