Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (ER RN)
Location: Quincy, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Join a Level II trauma center as an ER Registered Nurse providing care for both adults and children. This facility includes a 30-bed emergency department with 27 medical beds and 3 psychiatric beds, averaging 120 patients per day. The ED is also a Level II Stroke Center and a Chest Pain accredited facility, with a full treatment center for Sexual Assault Survivors operating from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in Illinois
- ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications (AHA approved)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Trauma Nurse Specialist (TNS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience

- Patient assignments based on census and acuity (POD nursing)
- Various shift ranges available
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma and Stroke Center preferred
