Location: Winchester, Tennessee

Unit and Facility Overview

• ICU with 10 beds
• Trauma Level III
• Patient population primarily adults (18+), with rare pediatric post-op patients
• Patient ratio: 1:2
• Equipment includes Baxter pump, GE bedside monitor, Arjo beds
• Electronic Health Record system: Meditech

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, including ICU experience within the last year
• Certifications required prior to start: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Skills/Experience:

  • Advanced hemodynamic monitoring
  • Ventilator management
  • Vasoactive drips

Common Diagnoses/Treatments

• COPD exacerbation
• Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA)
• Atrial fibrillation
• Pre/post heart catheterization care
• Septic shock

Additional Information

• Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
• Dress code: Any color scrubs allowed; street clothes or apparel with outside hospital names are not permitted
