Description
Registered Nurse - Med Surg Telemetry (Travel)
Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Float pool position with potential reassignment to another unit once per day.
- Must be able to float to all acute care areas and an additional nearby location.
- Work schedule includes every other weekend and holidays as required.
- Accepting 36 or 48 hours per week.
- Early start shifts available if compliant.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Med Surg / Telemetry specialty, including experience within the last year
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or Red Cross certification
Additional Information
- Position is patient-facing and clinical.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: Meditech
- Dress code: Solid navy scrubs
- Must be willing to float to multiple units and locations.
- Parking is available.
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
