Echosonographer - Colorado, Glenwood Springs

Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Perform diagnostic imaging with a focus on echocardiography (TTE, TEE, Contrast studies including Optison/Definity, Bubbles studies, Exercise and Dobutamine Stress Echo)
Preferred additional skill: Pediatric TTE (rare)
Work settings include inpatient hospital, outpatient clinic, emergency room, and cath lab
Use of equipment such as Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, Siemens Origin
EMR systems: Athena, Meditech, PICOM
Schedule includes evening, night, and weekend call rotations
Positive, team-oriented attitude with good communication skills and openness to feedback is essential

Required Qualifications

RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Minimum 3 years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging specialty
Prior travel experience is required for this role
Must meet radius rule: permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility

Housing opportunity available (subject to availability): newly remodeled furnished studio and one-bedroom apartments near the hospital, including utilities and Wi-Fi
