Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Hudson, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to work in a Level II Trauma Center with 5 procedure suites. The unit performs diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, peripheral vascular procedures, pacers, ICDs, Watchman, TAVR, and EP/ABL procedures.

Unit Details

Bed Capacity: 309 total beds in the hospital
Staff: 1 Director, 1 CNC, ~4.6 RNs, 5 techs
Patient Ratios: Approximately 1 patient per 3-4 staff members
Shifts: Day shift for all staff; night shift on-call for emergent cases
Equipment: Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, Rotoblator
EMR Systems: MacLab & Meditech

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
Experience as a Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Technician
Experience as a Vascular Technologist

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with EP/ABL procedures is a plus

Schedule & Additional Information

Scheduled according to facility policy
Expected to work every other weekend and holidays on a rotating basis with hospital staff

Ideal Candidate

Skilled in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and related procedures
Comfortable working with advanced cardiac equipment and technology
Able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with experienced staff
