Job Opportunity: RN - Operating Room
Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Schedule: 2 shifts of 8 hours and 2 shifts of 12 hours per week
- No on-call or weekend requirements
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Connecticut
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, with OR experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association)
- Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the last year
- Must meet all required health and professional credential verifications, including but not limited to:
- Current license verification dated within 30 days of start
- Fit test and respirator evaluation with physician signature
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- MMR, Hepatitis B vaccination series, Influenza vaccine or approved exemption
- Tuberculosis screening (2 Step PPD or IGRA) with chest x-ray if applicable
- Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
- Physical/health statement confirming fitness to work within the last year
- 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)
- Background checks and verifications including criminal background, education, exclusion lists, and conflict of interest disclosures completed prior to start
- Completion of required professional forms and agreements related to confidentiality, code of conduct, and system security

- Resume and professional references required for submission
- All documentation must be uploaded and verified in the credentialing system prior to start date
