Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Location: Corsicana, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Start ASAP
Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Schedule: Sunday through Saturday, 3 shifts per week
No call required
No 48-hour option
No block scheduling
No floating
Maximum return to office (RTO): 36 hours

Unit Details

Labor & Delivery and Postpartum required
Nursery experience preferred
Unit beds: 14
Patient ratios:
- Labor: 1:1-2
- Nursery: 1:6
- Postpartum: 1:6
- Mother-Baby couplets: 1:3

Requirements

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
Postpartum experience
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

Scrub color: any solid colors or scrubs provided if necessary
Electronic Medical Record system: Centricity
