Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry (Nights)
Location: Claremont, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- This assignment covers Medical/Surgical (MS), Telemetry (Tele), and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) specialties. Candidates must be comfortable working across all three areas.
- Start date is firm: June 1.
- The facility is a small, rural hospital setting; rural experience is preferred.
- Candidates must be able to work independently and "hit the ground running."
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
- Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color.
- Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric.
- Nurse-to-patient ratio typically 5:1, with higher acuity PCU patients at 3:1 or 4:1 for both day and night shifts.
- Requested time off during the assignment must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no requests will be approved after offer.
- No call or call-back requirements for this assignment.
Required Qualifications
- License: New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license valid in New Hampshire (must be uploaded with profile).
- Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years in PCU, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry nursing.
- Experience with cardiac monitoring and basic dysrhythmia interpretation required.
- Certifications:
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Current American Heart Association ACLS certification.
- Additional Requirements:
- Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment.
- Skills checklist documentation for Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit current within 1 year.
- Must have own vehicle for assignment.
- Permanent address must be included in profile.
- All scheduling requests and time off must be included at submission; no accommodations after offer.
- Preferred:
- Previous travel experience is highly preferred but not required.
- Experience in rural or small facility settings is highly preferred.
Important Notes
- No block scheduling or 48-hour guaranteed time available.
- Travel pairs may be considered if able to work separate shifts as needed.
- Candidates planning to work concurrently with another permanent or travel assignment are not eligible.
- No non-billable orientation or holiday multipliers apply.
This role is ideal for experienced RNs comfortable in multiple specialty areas within a small, rural hospital environment, who can work independently and adhere strictly to scheduling and licensing requirements.
