Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Location: Vero Beach, Florida
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Role involves circulating procedures in Interventional Radiology (IR) / Interventional Neuroradiology (IN) and caring for patients during preparation and recovery phases.
Must be able to float within scope to meet facility needs across multiple nearby hospitals (within 20 miles).
On-call required: must respond to the hospital within 30 minutes when on call.
Locals accepted at the same rate.
Pending license accepted.
Guaranteed hours: 36 hours for 12-hour shifts; 3 hours for 8/10-hour shifts.
Time-sensitive training modules must be prioritized and completed before starting the assignment.
Smoke-free facility: all travelers must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test required.

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Minimum 1.5 years of Interventional Radiology experience, with experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
