Surgical Tech - OR

Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Specialty: Neuro / Spine
  • Shift: Day (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Weekend Hours: On call
  • Call Requirements: Evenly distributed by coordinator
  • Unit Type: Operating Room (OR)
  • Number of Beds on Unit: 24
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1
  • EMR System: Cerner

Required Qualifications

  • Surgical Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Surgical Technician experience within the last year
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Additional Information

  • Dress Code: Scrubs in ceil blue or royal blue
  • Unacceptable Attire: Fleece, hoods, t-shirts, sweatshirts, no nail polish allowed
  • Patient Type: Surgical patients
