Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse
Location: Decatur, Illinois
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Days (06:30 AM – 05:00 PM)
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in specialty
- First-time Travelers: Accepted
- Weekend Requirement: Work every third weekend
- On-Call: 1 primary night and 1 secondary night per week
- Floating: May float within scope as needed
- Schedule Flexibility: Block schedule requests can be discussed with manager
- Local Candidates: Accepted without radius restrictions
- License Requirement: Must have an active Illinois RN license or active application with ETA
- Return to Office Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days off
- Guaranteed Hours: Subject to client call-offs up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment

Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA or RQI acceptable
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA or RQI acceptable
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology nursing experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License or State ID
- Background checks covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years, including national and state-specific searches
- Primary source verification of certifications and licenses (e.g., NURSYS for RN)
- Competency exam required for clinical candidates
- Physical exam within one year of start, including labs scheduled within 7 days of contract signing
- Fit mask test (specific mask types required) for new contracts
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within one year
- Immunization or documented immunity for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required annually
- References: Two professional references required for clinical candidates
- Skills checklist required for clinical candidates
Additional Notes
- Badge photo required within one week of contract signing
- Parking permit form must be completed within 7 days of contract signing
- Fingerprinting must be completed in Illinois 3 business days prior to start if candidate does not have an IL state license
- Candidate must review and sign code of conduct and other facility-specific documents as required
