Job Opportunity: Technologist (MRI)

Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Employment Type: Traveler - Backfill
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures under the supervision of a qualified radiologist to ensure accurate and appropriate imaging for diagnosis and treatment.
• Participate in teaching and research related to MRI.
• Demonstrate active involvement in the department.
• Communicate effectively and manage challenging customer interactions, escalating to management as needed.
• Utilize MRI equipment including Philips MRI Scanner and GE Scanner.
• Use electronic medical record systems and imaging software.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited Radiology program.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in MRI (ARRT (R)(MRI)) or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
• Minimum 5 years of MRI experience.
• Minimum 1 year of Level I Trauma Hospital experience.
• Experience with Philips MRI equipment.
• Proficient with computers, including basic navigation and email applications.
