Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Caldwell, Idaho
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (Three 12-hour shifts per week, covering every other weekend; additional shifts available)


Unit Information

  • Unit: Respiratory Therapy
  • Number of Beds: 83
  • Staffing:
    • Day Shift: Typically 2 RTs
    • Night Shift: 1-2 RTs depending on census
  • Patient Ratios:
    • 1 RT covers ICU, 1 RT covers med-surg and ED unless census is low, then 1 RT covers all
  • Equipment Used: AVEA ventilators, Hamilton C1
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
  • Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy (RRT) experience, including experience within the last year
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
    • National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification

Additional Information

  • Dress Code: Army green scrubs
  • Weekend and On-call: Every other weekend coverage required; ability to pick up extra shifts encouraged
