Location: Andalusia, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Review patient history and physician's orders.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered.
• Continuously monitor patient condition and respond to changes as appropriate.
• Prepare equipment and supplies; implement safety standards.
• Perform quality control procedures on imaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions.
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures (X-ray and CT).
• Analyze imaging results and address quality issues by repositioning patients or repeating procedures.
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results.
• Float between X-ray and CT departments as needed.
• Work schedule consists of five 8-hour shifts per week.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist, including Radiology and CT.
• Experience as a CT Technologist.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (RD) and Computed Tomography (CT).
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Must be willing to float between X-ray and CT departments.
• This is a travel assignment with a 13-week duration.
