Description

Diagnostic Imaging Technologist (MRI) - Contract Position

Location: Carbondale, Illinois
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Call up to 10 days per month, shared among techs (should never be 10 days for one person)
Every other weekend required

Job Responsibilities

Perform MRI scans
Utilize PACS system correctly
Assist with clerical and office duties to maintain department efficiency
Verify MRI scan protocols with Radiologist
Maintain IV/Contrast competency

Required Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Radiology or Certification
ARRT Certification in Radiology, MRI
Illinois Medical License
CPR Certification
Minimum 1 year of technical experience preferred

Additional Information

Experience with EPIC & Safe Trace systems is a plus (optional)
Dress code: Solid color scrubs (no specific colors)
Parking available behind hospital or at South entrance
