Job Opportunity: Hospice Nurse (Night Shift)
Location: Grand Junction, Colorado

Job Description
As a Hospice Nurse, you will provide compassionate end-of-life care, serving as a vital support to patients and their families. This role involves being a teacher and guide, helping patients set personal goals of care and empowering caregivers with confidence. Hospice nursing requires strong clinical skills, excellence in assessment, and critical thinking, with a focus on symptom management across a variety of diseases.
You will work in a short-term care, home-like setting that offers intensive medical end-of-life care for patients who cannot remain at home but prefer not to be hospitalized. The care approach includes comprehensive physical, emotional, social, and spiritual support.
This is a full-time night shift position (7pm-7am), working 3 shifts per week (12-hour shifts), with an on-call requirement of 2 shifts per month.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Colorado
- Strong clinical skills in hospice and palliative care
- Ability to perform thorough assessments and manage symptoms effectively
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
