Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab RN

Location: Albany, Georgia
Contract Length: 17 weeks

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN to circulate and take call in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization lab environment. The role involves working in a diagnostic and interventional lab with quick patient turnover.

Work Details

Circulate during procedures; Techs scrub and monitor
Average 15-20 cases per day
Call required 1-2 days per week and every 4th weekend
Call response time: 30 minutes
Shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
Rotating day off and a 4-day weekend every 5th weekend
Floor-specific orientation: 1-2 weeks
No floating between units
Professional solid scrub colors provided
IR experience preferred but not required
Balloon pump experience required

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab specialty
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turnover
Prior travel experience required (no first-time travelers)

Additional Notes

4 procedure rooms: 2 cath, 1 interventional radiology (IR), 1 electrophysiology (EP)
EMR systems used include Meditech and GE MacLabs
Weekend and holiday call coverage rotates with staff
Must comply with a 75-mile radius rule for travel assignment eligibility
