Radiologic Technologist - Outpatient Medical Imaging

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist in Outpatient Medical Imaging is responsible for positioning patients for X-rays of various body parts including chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle. The technologist performs imaging procedures independently, operates X-ray equipment, processes images, and documents them into the imaging system. Basic patient care duties under nurse supervision include obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for clinician evaluation, and assisting clinicians. The technologist may also perform selected procedures as defined by patient care standards and may float to Main Radiology as needed. The work schedule is during the day.

Required Qualifications

• Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT)
• Current CPR Certification
• California-issued Fluoroscopy Permit
• Current ARRT licensure
• Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC EMR preferred)
• Previous travel experience preferred

• Must be a W-2 employee of the staffing agency
• May be required to float to other radiology areas as needed
