Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Providence, Rhode Island
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Schedule: Flexible, 36 hours per week
Home Unit: Labor, Delivery, Recovery (LDR)
Job Description
Provide patient-centered nursing care in collaboration with families, following professional nursing standards. Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, intervention, and evaluation in the Labor and Delivery setting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Rhode Island
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP), including experience within the last year
- Experience in Labor & Delivery (LDR) or Antepartum nursing
- Fetal monitoring experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
Additional Information
- No contract extensions available
- Must complete all required onboarding documentation and health screenings prior to start
- Must comply with all occupational health and safety requirements, including annual flu vaccination and TB screening
- Driver’s license or state ID required for onboarding
