Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Providence, Rhode Island
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Schedule: Flexible, 32 hours per week
Home Unit: Antepartum Care Unit (ACU)
Job Description
Provide patient-centered nursing care in collaboration with families, following professional nursing standards. Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, intervention, and evaluation in the Labor and Delivery or Antepartum setting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Rhode Island
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery or Antepartum nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience with fetal monitoring
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
