Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist I – Urgent Care
Location: Vacaville, California
Employment Type: Clinical Allied Travel
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Job Description
- Perform general radiographic studies following established quality assurance protocols.
- Produce radiographs, organize images, complete required paperwork, and handle charges.
- Ensure patient safety and well-being during examinations.
- Assist and instruct patients before and during examinations.
- Inspect and clean radiology equipment prior to use; report any malfunctions or equipment failures.
- Report patient complaints, discrepancies, and drug reactions according to QA policies.
- Support clerical duties and assist in other department areas as needed (e.g., front desk, rooming patients).
- Work under supervision with oversight from management.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technician license in California
- Radiology Technician with 1 year of experience within the last year
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Additional Information
- Work hours depend on shift assignment and department needs; weekend and evening work required.
- Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills including caring, communication, collaboration, and competence.
- Adherence to attendance and punctuality standards is essential.
