Job Opportunity: X-Ray Technologist

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)

Job Details

• Shift: 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Call: Based on department needs
• Weekend and holiday work required if scheduled
• May need to float within skill set or to nearby sites within 40 miles
• Experience with fluoroscopy and surgery required
• EPIC system experience preferred

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in Wisconsin
• Minimum 3 years of X-Ray Technologist experience, including fluoroscopy and surgery
• Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel assignment
• Prior travel experience required

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

• Professional resume/profile and at least two professional references
• Signed assignment agreement and confirmation of assignment documentation
• Core competencies completed within the last year (HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA, etc.)
• Specialty exam demonstrating competency in X-Ray Technologist area (minimum 80% passing score)
• Criminal background check and employment verification (7 years)
• Drug screening (12-panel) within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
• Education verification relevant to clinical work
• Health and immunization documentation including:

  • MMR (two vaccines or positive titer)
  • Varicella (two vaccines or immunity evidence)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
  • Influenza vaccine or mask requirement during flu season
  • Tdap vaccine (valid within 10 years)
  • TB testing (2-step PPD or IGRA) and chest X-ray if positive
  • Fit test for respiratory protection (3M masks preferred)
  • Health statement or physical exam prior to assignment, updated annually
  • Color vision test prior to start and every 3 years
• Badge photo (headshot with white or blue background)

Additional Notes

• Must complete onboarding education attestation prior to start
• Skills checklist to be completed annually
• May be required to work holidays if they fall on scheduled workdays

This position is suitable for experienced X-Ray Technologists who have prior travel experience and meet the licensing and certification requirements.
