Job Opportunity: Pediatric RN - Cardiac ICU

Location: Austin, Texas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
Specialty: Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU)

Job Description

Provide nursing care in a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU setting.
Nurse-to-patient ratio varies by shift and patient acuity:
- 1:1 for ICU status patients
- 1:2 for ICU status patients
- 1:3 for stepdown or non-ICU patients

Required Experience and Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) nursing experience.
CVICU experience within the last year.
Experience working with pediatric patients.
Pediatric CVICU experience.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
