Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
PALS certification
NRP certification
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
NURSYS verification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Additional Information

Dress code for licensed nursing personnel: solid navy blue uniforms or scrubs (no print tops except in specific pediatric or women’s services units)

Must complete required facility and system-specific training modules annually via LMS platform
Floating policy acknowledgment required; may float to other nearby facilities
