Registered Nurse - Med Surg Telemetry

Location: Gallatin, Tennessee

Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse with Med Surg Telemetry specialty to provide quality healthcare in a 167-bed Level III Trauma Center. The position involves working in the Med Surg department with adult and geriatric patient populations.

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend / As needed
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: Must be willing to float to other Med Surg units
Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric
EHR System: Meditech
Medication Dispensing System: Omnicell

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
Must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as a travel nurse
Tennessee Abuse Registry check required prior to assignment start
Dress code: Scrubs of any color; casual wear is not acceptable
Professional demeanor expected
