Job Opportunity: Echo Tech

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Department: Echo Department, Cardiology
Unit: Adult Echo Lab - Cardiovascular Diagnostic Imaging
Shift: Day shift only (8-10 hours)
Equipment: Philips Epiq, IE33
EMR System: Cerner Power Chart
Echo Reporting System: Intellispace Cardiovascular (ISCV)

Typical Procedures

Adult 2D/3D Echo
Strain Echos
Stress Echos (Treadmill)

Required Qualifications

Valid Adult Echocardiography license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of experience in Adult Echocardiography, including experience within the last year
BLS certification
Echo Tech Certification (CCI or ARDMS preferred)
Knowledge and compliance with USP 800 coverage for hazardous drug risks

Work Environment & Culture

Fast-paced environment requiring adaptability and flexibility
Dress Code: Green scrubs provided (3 sets)
Schedule options may include hospital, office, or both locations

This is a competitive market; new equipment and experienced staff contribute to a supportive work environment.
Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
