Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech

Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Must have 2 years of pediatric cath/EP experience (pediatric catheterization/electrophysiology).
Floating is not required.
Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
On-call required with ability to be on-site within 2 hours of call.
Typical caseload: approximately 4 cases per day.
Recent experience required: minimum 2 years.
Must have pediatric cath experience (deal breaker).

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year.
Experience working with pediatric patients.
At least 2 years of pediatric cardiac catheterization/electrophysiology (pediatric cath/EP) experience.

Health & Compliance Requirements

Physical exam within 30 days of start, including latex allergy information.
Fit mask test (N95 or PAPR) within 1 year of start, updated annually.
Immunizations and titers required:
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) with titers or vaccines
- Hepatitis B series and antibody titer or declination form
- Varicella vaccine or titer
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
- COVID vaccine or declination for tracking purposes
10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (including marijuana).

Additional Requirements

Two professional references dated within the past two years (preferably supervisors/managers).
Employment application and skills checklist required prior to start.
Photo for badge must be submitted immediately after signing.
Completion of facility-specific training modules prior to start (including COVID-19 vaccine training and emergency management).
Time-off requests must be submitted with application; no time-off approved after offer.

Notes

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
Ability to be on-site within 2 hours for on-call shifts is mandatory.
