Registered Nurse (PACU/SSSU) - Contract Opportunity

Location: Clarkston, Washington
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Seeking a Registered Nurse with strong Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and pre/post-operative skills. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week.

Responsibilities include:

Providing nursing care across the entire Outpatient Services area, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, PACU, Pre-operative Clinic, and conscious sedation support for special procedures.
Performing nursing assessments, peri-operative education, and care.
Recognizing and managing post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.
Floating as needed within outpatient services.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Washington
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of PACU (pre/post) nursing experience, including Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
Strong PACU skills
ACLS certification
BLS certification
PALS certification

Additional Information

Prior travel experience is not required for this position.
