Job Opportunity: Special Procedures Tech
Location: Margate, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 289
- Shift: Day shift only
- Call Requirements: Mandatory rotating call (no call room provided)
- Equipment Used: GE Innova and Philips biplane
- Documentation Systems: Meditech, MAC lab
Typical Procedures
- Procedures related to special radiology/interventional procedures (specific procedures not listed)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Special Procedures Technologist license in Florida
- Special Procedures Technologist with 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification
- De-escalation skills in healthcare settings
- Knowledge or training on handling hazardous drugs according to USP 800 standards
Additional Preferences
- Adaptability to a fast-paced unit
- Ability to function well independently
Dress Code
- OR blue scrubs
